I am currently a student at Sage College of Albany in the interior design program and will be graduating in May of 2013. My interest in interior design started when I was much younger. My father is a general contractor and has worked on many homes. Sometimes I would go to the job sites with him to see what he has been working on. Inspired by his skills, I realized that someday I would love to be able to design interiors.

While studying interior design I have picked up many skills and learned several programs. I was able to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and even have had a couple art pieces published in the Vernacular, our school's fine art magazine. Currently I am the secretary for the Interior Design Club, but have been apart of the club for two years now. I have worked on several projects developing schematics and construction documents as well as creating code charts, branding, and laying out boards. 



A goal of mine is to be able to design a yacht or a tour bus. However, before achieving this goal I plan to work in commercial design. I have realized as long as I am a designer I will feel accomplished.
